Our story

In the ‘What about us?’ project, we used action research to help young people make a difference in their schools and colleges. We found out that:

  • young people feel better (and learn more) when they do research
  • young people can make a real difference.

We found out that young people have great ideas – new ideas. They told us that they want:

  • to be safe and happy all the time
  • somewhere safe to go when they are at school or college
  • to know more about big changes like moving to a different school or college.
